Members kits -- a question for First Place Staff

The First Place website, when describing the members kits, indicate that a prayer journal is provided. But when my church ordered six members kits for the new session that started a couple of weeks ago, there were no prayer journals included. I sent a note asking how we can get the prayer journals via the "contact us" link on Wednesday, but I haven't heard back. So I'm going to try this venue. Thanks! Kathy/IL

Hi, Kathy: I believe they discontinued putting the prayer journals in the kits, but they do include the pocket exchange and Health for Life books now. You can buy the prayer journals for $9.99 I believe. What I prefer to do is have the members decorate with stick-ons a spiral notebook or I plan to order some prayer journals from a source I found which have some for a better price. Are you the Kathy I met thru Outlook a few years ago? How are you doing?

It's unfortunate that First Place hasn't updated their website or the resource order form (which also indicated that the prayer journals, selling for $9.99, came with the members' kits). Thanks for the information, though; at least I can get the information to my new members.

I'm doing fine, Kathy. I ordered some prayer journals from www.CTAinc.com. Go to the website and type in Prayer Journals for your search. We got the one about Growing Closer to Christ and they are only $1.29, not as many pages as the FP one but we thought it was a good one.

Naturally, I cannot locate that right now. I know it was on the printed resource list that came with our materials; it gave a price but the notation was on that line that the prayer journal was included in the members kit. I assumed that the price and separation was for reordering prayer journals when the one that came with the members kit was filled up. And it's included in the very same manner on the resource that is in the back of the Giving Christ First Place bible studies that we ordered at the same time that we ordered our members kits. I hope that this helps.
