I have been leading a FP group on/off for several years. I am getting a few more folks who are Vegetarian/Vegan. Are there any resources for Live-It plan slated for vegetarians?
Specifically, how would exchanges "change" if there were no meat (or meat and dairy) exchanges used?
Thank you!

Hi, Freedom!
Check out pages 65-66 in the member guide. There you will find suggestions for converting the meat and milk exchanges into appropriate protein and calcium sources in vegetables and soy products. I think as long as you get enough sources of protein and calcium in vegetables and fruits, you will be nutritionally sound. The top of p. 66 outlines what constitutes a meat exchange...and then goes on to tell you how many exchanges of vegetables, fruit, and bread you need to get in. In this way, you'd still count the same number of exchanges you would on the regular Live-It, but you'd just be getting them from different sources. Hope that makes sense!
