Christy,
As long as we are suggesting (?) and asking for new helps, I'd like to add another item to our list! We use the puppets to do the skits in the assemblies. It's a great ministry -- the kids love the puppets. It's also a super service ministry for our teens. However, I end up doing a LOT of editing of the skits each year. Is there any way GL could include puppet scripts in with the assembly and skits guide? I really think that if you could, GL materials might just be PERFECT!!! :) I know that there was a section about puppets in this year's guide and it was a GREAT start..... This year's skits were so "physical" for lack of a better word. My teens were super and learned to use their voices to show so much expression, but there were some physical stuff that puppets just can't do.

If this isn't in the works from GL, is there anyone out there who would like to collaborate on puppet scripts for VBS 007?

I just wanted to respond to Cyndi and anyone else interested in puppet skit scripts to let you know that we're listening to you and are considering the feasibility for our 2008 VBS. Sadly, it's too late for 2007 VBS (hard to believe, huh?).

In the meantime, it's come to my attention that some of the folks working hard to edit our scripts (for puppets or for people) don't realize there are editable documents on our Clip Art and Publicity CD! Please don't retype the scripts. Just get the files off the CD and edit from there. Your life will be much easier.

Thanks for your response Karen! I really appreciate it. Yes, I always download the script from the CD and then do the edits. It is sooooo much easier. I can't tell you what a blessing it is to be able to communicate with a company who listens to the needs of their customers. You all are super! I can't imagine using another VBS group! I'm already excited about SonForce Kids, but I can't wait for VBS 2008!! ;-)
