Help!! Need Amp'd Up Assembly Opening & Closing Script

I've used Group's VBS for 8 years and this year the committee voted on SonRock. I'm used to having all the script for the opening & closing leader. The SonRock only gives a sample of each and its sample is day 1. I am not a writer. Can anyone help me! Tonight - Sun., July 26 - was day 1 and tomorrow - Mon., July 27 I need text!

You aren't the only customer who missed our scripted assemblies. The good news is that we have fully scripted opening and closing assemblies in our VBS 2010 Rockin' Rainforest Assemblies guide. The bad news is, that doesn't help you much this year.

My best advice is to take the sample assembly, and then simply adapt each section what kids are learning each day. Use songs kids learned in the Music Center that day or the day before. Review that day's Daily Truth and Bible verse. Adapt the Leader conversation from the stunts and Bible-story previews (even if you don't do the stunts or previews!) to introduce the day's key concepts. Follow the outline of the sample and play off whatever went well the day before.

Just remember first and foremost to have a good time! If you're enjoying yourself, the kids will too. Remember, they don't have a script either so they don't know what's "supposed" to happen!

The Amp'd Up Assemblies guide has the leader conversation already written for each day's verse and Daily Challenge, I think. I don't have a book with me to give you the exact page numbers.
