For those of you cutting up all of that cardboard to make journals for a craft:
I found that the easiest and quickest way to cut the cardboard was with a rotary cutter tool that quilters use to cut material. (Looks like a little pizza cutter, but is very sharp). Use another piece of cardboard behind it for a matting or you will cut your surface. You need to push hard, and I needed to make 2 passes to get it to cut all the way through. I just measured and drew lines, but if you had a straight edge that would probably work well too. Hope this idea might help somebody.
