Reproducible CD

My church has purchased the Kingdom of the Son Reproducible CD. I interpreted the split track function on the CD as being able to copy only the music (no singing!) onto a CD for our performances during our closing program. I gave the CD to a member who was supposed to do just that but after getting the instrumental CD back from him there's still singing. Were my expectations wrong?

The split track means the one speaker has singing and 1 speaker has music. You need a player that can slipt the sound Left or Right.

Thanks. I think that I understand the concept of split track and am now browsing the internet to see if there is software available to do what I want to do.
