As much as I love having an office at church and an office at home I keep finding that what I need is always in the other office/computer.
Could anyone share with me the list of jobs available. I have yet to receive my pack yet and I wanted to start advertising this weekend.
TIA

I try to load as much duplicate stuff that I can on all my computers. Then I e-mail myself file that I might need at church. I check my e-mail through web-mail so it doesn't matter what computer I am at, it's still in my mail box waiting. Of course my computer at church doesn't have internet yet. I still have to go to the main office when I want internet.
Anyway! What job list are you looking for?

Have you ever used a flash drive? They can be purchased at Walmart pretty inexpensively, and although I don't need one for VBS, they are great for other projects that I work on at various computers. :)

Thank you for your excellent idea's. I think I will get a flash drive for all my VBS stuff. The only problem I may run into is the graphic issue as I use a Mac at home and the ofice I use Vista Windows.

The images are all the same, I run all macs; but, staff at the church run Windows and the files open the same in either system.

LOGMEIN.COM
Here is a better solution. Go to www.logmein.com and download their FREE software. The have a couple of different versions you can pay for so make sure you get the FREE version.
The software allows you to "take control" of a computer remotely. (as long as both computers have an internet connection) So I can be on my computer at work and access my comptuer at home. My screen at home pops up on my computer at work and I use it just as if I was sitting at home. IT IS AWESOME SOFTWARE. I have about 15 different computers on my account each one of them I can access remotely.
I have been using it for years. I even have it on my mom's computers because she is always calling me for technical help. So I just take over her computer while I am using my laptop on my couch at home. She can watch what I am doing on her computer as I explain it to her on the phone. And you can use it with a MAC or PC... you could even control a MAC with a PC or vice versa. I just noticed you can even control your computer if you have an iPhone.

That is so cool! I know some companies have "remote" access, but I had no idea you could do it for yourself. I'm definitely going to check that out!
Thanks for the info!
