I was looking at using a different publisher next year, but I went and looked at their forums and no other forum has the action, love or ideas this one does. Thank you to everyone who shares!!!!!
So I think I am going to do Kingdom of the Son. I looked at Son Rock and I feel I would be in conflict with our outdoor ministry camp.
Who else is thinking of doing kingdom of the Son?

We're not doing Kingdom of the Sun because we just did it the last time. But, know that it is a GREAT VBS! Like seriously. I think it might be one of the best GL has come out with.

I loved Kingdom of the Son, but we also used it in 2005. Too soon to do it again, IMO. But we will be using SonRock! I haven't used other publishers, I don't have anything against them. I like the consistency that GL provides, I just 'plug-in' the new information. The teachers know what to expect and it is very flexible. It was suggested by a past director that we re-use SonRiver Canyon (canyon river?). I would have, but w/o the boards and new music cd (can you believe they gave out tapes back then?) I don't even think they have clip-art disks, it really would be more difficult. I think I save more money from tips on the boards. The current Ed director and I are considering selling the stored kits we have. Of course then I have to find the time to see what we have.

I also like the stories for SonRock. :)

I am going to start looking for a rock font.....yes the day after my VBS ends and that is what I was thinking about when I woke up. :o
