Ideas anyone for a volunteer thank you gift? (price range < $5@) The only thing I can think of is popcorn but I'd like a catchy thank you phrase to go with it. I got a great idea last year from one of the forum boards for the SonForce theme. What have others given their volunteers? Any ideas, insights are greatly appreciated!

I will probably have some kind of chocolate for our Friday Pizza party.

For "Thank You" gifts for our volunteers, I filled a candy dish each day with a saying corresponding to the candy like "Thanks for volunteering, you are LIFESAVERS!" "You're the best volunteers in the MILKY WAY" "You volunteers are such SWEETARTS, Thank you!" "Thanks for helping our kids SNICKER all week!" "Volunteers, you're the best since BABE RUTH- thanks for making our VBS a homerun this week!"
On Friday, I also gave each of the volunteers certificates with pictures attached of them with their groups or candids that we took during the week.
Also on Friday, after all the kids left, we had a volunteer pizza party for the volunteers and their children. Our local Speedway graciously donated pop and Pizza Hut and Hungry Howies donated the pizzas. It was a nice way to say thank you!

Each year I photocopy the daily devotions (usually from the craft book because for some reason they're usually in one column in that book) 2 to a page (on the appropriate color of the day, because I'm just that AR about all of this stuff!) and then wrap each day's devotion around an appropriate candy (such as Nestle Treasures during SonTreasure Island or the corresponding daily color of LaffyTaffy this year) for each of our staff (about 40-45 per day) and tie it off with a ribbon. OK, it's a little compulsive, but it's cute.

Wouldn't it be great if we could get the daily devotions in a file. I never noticed the ones in columns. Cool.
Great idea!!!
