Hi - has anyone used (or is planning to use) the coloring mural? I thought it might be a good project for our preschoolers to do if the teacher runs out of things to do and has extra time... And then we could display it the last day. Anyone have any opinions on it?

Our Pre-K kids absolutely loved the coloring mural last year, and the one for this year was opened at the staff orientation to much "Oohs" and "Aahs". We displayed it at the wrap-up worship/picnic celebration in the park last year and plan to do the same again this year.

Last year we put it up in our summer Sunday school classroom. The kids colored it each week at the end of class. It was also a room I knew wouldn't get much decoration so it worked out great. (Other than a weight loss group that meets in that room kept taking it down....grrrrr).
I have bought this years, I think the preschool room and then displaying it would be a great idea!!!! Thanks!

I bought one this year for the first time. I was planning to set it up in my Game Plank/Midway area so that volunteer kids and others that arrive early would have something to do before everything starts, and if kids have time after snack and midway games times they would have something to do.

We hung our mural on a bulletin board and encouraged the kids who finished their crafts early to color it. We had kids from all age groups participate, and it really is a life saver if you find yourself with extra time! I will never go without one again!

It sounds like everyone has very good things to say about the mural! I am really glad I ordered one. Can't wait to get started on it!
Thanks for all your input!

Hi everyone! We ordered two of the murals last year and ordered them again this year. We are a classroom based VBS and put them in our 3 year old rooms. WOW - they were great! One of the teachers came up with a wonderful idea - she taped the mural on the floor in an out of the way place. Whenever the children were done snack or crafts early, they could just go right over and color.
Prayers for all!
