PowerPoint Slideshow

I LOVE that GL put the Slideshow together with the words and music. This will be a huge help when we teach the music in breakout sessions. Problem is the timing is off. With the timing off there is no use for it. Can this be fixed through GL? It is in Slideshow so I cannot go in and change timers. HELP!

Hi Leslie,
This is a Powerpoint issue that should be pretty easy to solve. The first thing is to make sure all other programs are closed - having other programs running at the same time can slow the presentation down and cause the timing to go off.

Thank you Christy for the ideas, but the timing is still off. I have a pretty decent system that is not that old, should run well on it. Microsoft gives tips for adjusting things in PowerPoint but the show is in Slideshow and I cannot get into any of the PowerPoint areas to made adjustments. Any more ideas??? Thanks!!!

Open Power Point then open the slide show in Power Point that will give you the ability yo make changes.

Thank you Trinity Jen! Not sure where my mind was on that one, so Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am in the process of changing them all, but wanted to stop and thank you. These slideshows with the music are a huge plus this year! Yeah Gospel Light!

I ran the slide shows on my computer and didn't see any issue with them. The words seemed to match up pretty well to the music.
