Whoosh!!!

Hey everyone! I just returned from our church conference's big annual meeting, and I just have to tell you that I thought of you during the message delivered by a visiting bishop (BTW, TrinityJen, I think he's your bishop!). He spoke of the "Whoosh!" of the Holy Spirit entering at Pentecost and as we work in the present day to make disciples for Christ.

I thought of the "Whoosh!" I sense every time I read the insightful, creative, encouraging, heartfelt words of the contributors to this message board. I thought of the "Whoosh!" I know is happening in the lives of the kids and families you all reach. I thought of the "Whoosh!" you all express in your ADHD, manic, obsessive-compulsive (and a few other DSM-IV diagnoses!) excitement over your preparations for VBS. Whoosh!!!! Thank you for that.

Whoosh!! I love it too! That's the feeling you get when a full-blown idea pops into your head, and you just know it's gonna work because it obviously didn't come from your own abilities.
