Ordering bulk materials

Hello Everyone!
Just wanted to get some feedback from more experienced (or even new) directors. Our VBS is July 21-25 -- When would you order bulk materials, such as children's individual activity books from Gospel Light? You see, we're still not sure how many will attend.

I have been wondering the same thing...

I ordered all my stuff back in March. Last year they ran out of some items and I wanted to make sure I got what I needed. I based my numbers on last years attendance with hopefully a small increase this year. If I am wrong and have a bunch of stuff left over, I guess I have to see about sending it to Australia next year.

How about you plan a trip to Australia, Houseparent, and while you're here you can build all my props for next year!!! :D I've decided that every Church should have a "Houseparent".

Remember that you can return unused curriculum items if you over order. ;) I order about 30 for each level. We have between 50 and 75 kids each year. I never know which groups will be the bigger ones. I am hoping for around 100. You can probably wait until 4 weeks before to order, they usually run out of the other stuff first, like the daily tags, so order those now. :)
