Hey everyone,

Just want to make it clear that SonRock is NOT a revision of SonCanyon. It is a completely new course, and we're very glad people are responding so overwhelmingly positively just to the logo. Stay tuned for updates!
You all haven't seen anything yet! :D

(I know there was a thread up about this already but I accidentally deleted it - sorry about that!)

Thanks for replacing it. Let us know when more information is able for VBS Directors on SonRock Kids Camp. Hopefully it'll be June or possibly July.

I love it! I work for a mission organization that runs over 50 Bible camps across Canada, and I love camp. If I wasn't doing VBS's all summer, I'd be spending at least part of my summer at camp. This looks like a theme that could bring the two together. I can't wait to see more!

Any idea when more info will be posted? For the past couple of years we have hidden "clues" around the church for the kids (and staff!!) to try to guess next year's theme. It really helps build the anticipation and excitement for us all! We will definitely have to include a rock as one of the clues! Can't wait to hear more about SonRock!

While you're waiting for more theme information, I thought I'd let you in on a couple of new things that we've added to SonRock Kids Camp VBS:

*Brand-new Youth and Adult components that are based on the VBS '09 Bible content!

*Bible verse posters now come in KJV as well as NIV!

*Closing Program is back in the Assemblies and Skit Production Guide!

Keep checking back for more info. ;)

I'm glad it will be all new... I love your VBS materials but want to do new ones each year (having done them for over 12 years and directing for over 15 years... we have children age 2 to high school , I wish there was something for the older that would tie in with the theme? Also, the skit (this year) seems to have harder props and thing to do like flying... seems hard ... it looks good on the tape but our kids love live skits! Thanks!
