Passport to Adventure Sample Lesson

My church is starting to recruit for this program. We start it the week after VBS ends. We love being able to get more use out of our VBS decorations--and the kids love being able to sing their favorite songs all summer. We recruit leaders who are not part of our regular staff during the school year.

We take off the week of Memorial Day then we will start Passport to Adventure and our VBS is in July. It gives all the kids to be part of the fun. We put up a sign-up sheet and ask everyone to teach 2 (hopefully consecutive) weeks. We will have 3 weeks the kids go to church and no Sunday school. We will call it Bring Your Child to Church (BYC2C), the service is going to be more kid friendly. Even will a few weeks off we will have 10 weeks of SS! Thanks GL for this option!
