Daily Choice Tags

I know a lot of us came up with alternatives to the daily choice tags last, mainly because of the price. This year the cost is much less in fact I was able to order mine for $3.14 a set from Churchpartner.com.

Are most of you going to buy the Tags this year or are you going to come up with an alternative again.

I think this years tags are really cool and a lot more affordable.

I think we will make our own. Last year we used laminated silver card stock, cut into tags, and put on small clip key chains. This year I don't know what we will use, but I will start making them MUCH earlier.

We are going to use them this year. I am planning to add pin backs to them and make them "trading pins". The kids will "trade" good behavior, memorizing the Bible Verse, singing the loudest, listening well, etc. to get a trading pin for their nametag lanyard.

We were able to purchase ours at a 20% discount through The Master's Loft -we thought they were really cool this year too! Not sure yet how we are going to incorporate them into VBS - what does everyone else do? (when do you hand them out?)

We are going to do like we do every year and give one tag out each day. I give a set to the group leader for each child in their group and they pass them out each day either during snack time or theme center.

If a Child starts later in the week, the group leader will briefly cover the previous days' theme with the child to catch them up and give them the missing pieces.

In the past I have thought about just giving the items on the days they come, but then I would end up with items that would not be used stored in our VBS room collecting dust.
