Back from Down Under

Hi Everyone.

I just wanted to say "Hi" and say I'm so excited to be back again. For those who don't know, in Australia we get our VBS materials 12 months after USA so in 2008 we'll be doing Sonforce Kids. I know there's still a Sonforce forum but sometimes I just can't help coming along here and letting you know how we're going. I love to read all your ideas (it helps me get ready for next year) and I know if I only go on the Sonforce forum there will be very few people joining in!! So, here we go again ... HOORAY!!!

It is always great to 'see' you on the boards with us. Having friends around is part of what makes VBS planning fun!!! I know you will have a great SonForce Kids 2008!

Alison,
In October, my now 2nd grader studied Australia. My daughter was very quick to tell her teacher that "my mom has a friend in Australia who told her how to make Lemingtons and she can make them for the whole class." So I did and so did another Girl Scout mom for her daughter's class. Also the display the girls made last year was brought in for all the 2nd grade classes to see. Thanks again for your help!

That is great. I'm so glad the info stuck with the girls. I've certainly learned a lot about USA from these boards. I'm glad someone has learned a little about Australia too!!! LOL
