Two New Hearts

Our group has two openings that have not been filled. I would like prayer for God to touch two new hearts and draw them to us that we can minister to their needs.

Cheryll, Do you offer First Place at Ahtanum Valley Assembly of God? Karen/IN

Dear Karen,
I am not a member of First Place and have never been. The group I joined in 1982 is called 3D (Diet, Discipline and Discipleship). It is like First Place in every way, all that we teach, even the food plan. 3D was the first of its kind to pave the way for other groups to follow. From my view point we are all one. We all love and believe in the same Lord Jesus, we stand on His Word, we know that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and therefore need to keep it healthy and strong. Our group operates independently. We use various materials in our classes and have used the First Place materials as well. We reject anything that does not follow the Bible, and practices such as starvation,fad diets or any form of unhealthy eating. We believe in following Jesus our Model and Mentor in all things.
I started posting in this site because I felt a strong kinship with the program. As I said, there are no differences except those that we might create. If I have overstepped my boundaries by posting my devotions here, I will cease to do so if it is a problem.
I pray for the continued success and outreach of First Place. May all who follow it be blessed and become all that God intends.
