Saturday, August 18th, 9 a.m.

Hosted by Karen Rhodus at West Side Baptist Church, 154 Gordon Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. Registrations can be made by calling 513-255-2724 or online at here...http://www.net-pages.org/bcfplt/Register.htm . There is no registration fee for this event. The deadline to register is Monday, August 13. A First Place Orientation Class will be offered the same day at 8:15 a.m. There is no obligation for attending the Orientation. Come and see if First Place is for you! There will be a bookstore available to purchase materials. Register now...

I am so excited! WOW, what a special time for our leaders! Come, relax and be spoiled rotten! Together we are going to encourage each other to never give up and share the wealth! I already had a response from one of the area pastors, they see this as a new ministry that can be used during their Sunday School hour. Yes, that is a perfect time to share God's Word and minister to the community, too!!! I always have members join from the community... First Place is an outreach tool too! Now that is exciting:)

God is amazing, HE can use our weak areas to build up HIS people, by using us as HE is changing lives. Let's give HIM praise, for HE is at work......

You may think, 8:15 am on a Saturday morning may seam to be early. Just in case I have new people to the program interested in First Place. This is an opportunity for them to hear the basics before an hour of encouragement.

Have you considered starting a new group?

Prayerfully consider starting one the week of September 4th and shadow our group in "Life Under Control".... We meet on Tuesday, but a shadow group can meet any day of the week starting that week.

Why shadow? This is a great way to be a new leader with extra real-time leadership support. It's kinda neat knowing you are following the program with others in a different state!
