View Full Version : Husband wants to join First Place

Hi,

I recently moved away from my First Place Group in SC. Currently we are in Key West and I haven't been able to locate a group. My husband and I are going to try and do the program together. With our move and all, I cannot locate what a 38 year old man servings should be. He wants to be on the lowest amount of calories. Does anyone know?? Please help!!

I would suggest that if at all possible your husband see a dietitian. They are trained for this very thing. They will place him on the amount of calories that best suits his age, health, activity and weight. It isn't important to place ourselves on the lowest amount of calories, but the amount of calories that our body needs for repairs, to fight disease and remain healthy. If the calories are healthy ones, and your husband exercises daily, he will still lose weight. The key is eating the right foods and remaining as active as possible.
