I finally have a craft for Monday (Trust).
I have been struggling to come up with a craft for Monday. I try to have crafts that will last for a time after VBS and have some usefulness, play value, wearability, etc.
TRUST (prayer) JARS!
Unless I can find small clear plastic jars, we will use baby food jars. In the jars, place :
RICE as a reminder to pray for those who do not have food
CLEAR FLAT MARBLE (looks like a water drop) to pray for those without clean water
RED, WHITE and/or BLUE STARS as a reminder to pray for our country
TINY YELLOW RIBBONS for our soldiers
JINGLE BELLS for those who need joy
TINY ROSES for those who need encouragement
CROSSES for those who do not know Jesus yet
HEARTS for our loved ones
A PENNY to pray for those who are poor
BUTTONS to pray for those without clothing
The list could go on, but the jars only hold so much.
Fill the jar 1/3 full with rice and add the other items and shake to mix. As you turn the jar, different items come to the top. Pray for those things that day.
