Its great to see our prayers are being answered.

Whats news in your groups? How have you all been doing this year?

I am excited to say that we are starting a new group at our church. We have eight ladies ready to start any day now. The Group starter kit just got here today, and I can't put it down. This is a prayer I have had for a few years now. The Lord's answer has been wait. And now He has released us to pursue the dream. Our group is going to discuss meeting day and time, and then here we go. Pray for us as we begin our new journey. Isn't He amazing!!!!

My prayer for this week has been Psalm 139:23-24. I want Him to search me each day. I want Him to know my anxious thoughts. And most of all, I do not want any offensive way in me, causing me to show through and not His love.

I hope you are all getting ready for this wonderful weekend coming up. Praying for you all as you work towards your goals.

Hi Everyone,

Our group is just finishing the Bible Study, "Healthy Boundaries." This study has spoken to me like no other one so far and I've been leading First Place since 1997. Spiritually we have really been challenged and physically we have lost 99 pounds total; this is good since several in our group are on maintenance. God has worked in our lives so wondrously and we are looking forward to a summer session. Pray that we will continue to do as well.

Cheryl, I'm so happy to hear you are starting a group; you will do great. You have the right attitude and do let us hear how things are going. Meanwhile, I'll continue to pray for you.

You can do all things through Him Who strengthens you.

Wow, Bev. The loss in your group is outstanding. And having people maintaining, that is a wonderful thing. Sounds like your group also has a great attitude, and same with the leader!!! Keep up the "God" work, you will be blessed.
