Our VBS at Family Life Bible Church in Conway, Arkansas starts tomorrow and we are just about all set. I'm particularly proud because the kids themselves did some of the decorating. Thanks to everyone for ideas shared! To view some photos go to

GREAT JOB! Everything looked wonderful! I especially liked the robot made from the tv set--what a great idea!- Were the kids able to see themselves in the set? Looks like you guys did a lot of hard work, but it paid off- congratulations!!!!

Great Decorations! :D I like the extra large dogtags on the wall. I might have to make some and add them this week, when I get some free time.

It ALL looks great!!!!
You have helped me so much in my decorating. I have a Tuesday morning bible study group that will now be full of school kids out for summer. I am going to put them to work making decorations!!!!
Were the dog tags printed or hand done? I love them!

Thanks for sharing -
I think I am going to put together a slide show of the various decorations to help some people catch the vision.
Great job, and I too love the dog tags. I think I'll start someone on a couple of sets.

Lavrn,
Yes, the star and the robot's head have security cameras ($20 at Walmart) hidden in them. It was lots of fun yesterday to see the lines of kids passing by them, waving and making faces at themselves on tv.
TrinityJen,
For the dogtags, I printed them off the website full-size onto 81/2 x 11 paper and then our copy store copied them onto 17 x 23. It would work the same with an overhead though, of course. One thing, the little rings on the ends are oval-shaped, not circles (I used my Creative Memories oval cutter).

Thanks! I printed them 8.5x11 and they didn't seem big enough. WOW 17x23, I will check into that! Thanks again!
