Skit Characters

Here's an idea. You can use the clipart from the Clipart & Publicity CD to create the skit characters. I've outlined all of the charcters except for Jack. He'll be hard because he's not by himself in any of the clipart. I'm using the colors from the skit characters in the Asteroid Acident DVD. The clipart has some differences between the DVD but they can be added/fixed. I'm going to just hang them on the walls of my basement for the Training Meeting then put them on foam and put them in the Opening/Closing Assembly backdrop for VBS. During the week kids can put there names in your which skit character they want and there will be a raffle at the end of VBS. I'll have pictures as I finish each one.
Does anyone else do this for decoration?

Great idea Josh! We did animals on paper for Kingdom (05), last year we made a few giant parrots to decorate a 'forgotten' room. This year I was thinking of calling the home imp store and see how to get their 'trash' cardboard and maybe I'll make a few murals this year. But I wasn't sure what I would do....I like the idea of using the skit characters, then giving them away.

I am also wanting a 'photo' spot. For Kingdom at the last minute a VBS dad painted a front view of a jeep for me, the kids sat in chairs like they were driving. Last year I wanted a boat but ran out of time. But we did have a nice mural for the kids to stand in front of. It would be fun to take there picture w/ the characters.

Plus you can 'laminate' them with clear contact paper to protect from rain.

I've took some pictures of Inez and my Prayer Rocket that I've made. I'm having a hard time trying to get them on my computer but I'll post them when I do.
