If I were to use a First Place Bible study during an evening class on health/fitness, would I have to call the program First Place?

I am a former leader of First Place and led a group at church. I would like to restart the class, but I'd like it to be open to other women who are doing different programs such as low-carbing, weight watchers, etc. I was going to use a FP study, but not call it FP due to the diet program not being exclusively used... but someone mentioned that I might have to call it that if I used a study.

Any idea??

Thanks for your help!!

Kimber, I would suggest you just call it a Healthy Lifestyle Bible Study. You are not leading a First Place group as you have already stated. I think to call it FP would be misleading. You will have to deal with references in the Bible studies about the FP program, so you may end up explaining it anyway.

Just my thoughts

Thanks Leslie.

I did not want to, nor was I planning on calling it First Place, but someone else I spoke to about the scenario wondered if I'd have to call it that since I was using the study.

I decided to use a different Bible study other than First Place for the class so it won't matter this semester.

Thanks again for your reply
