not much green space

Our Church is located in a very urban area. We have no grass and a very small parking lot. We do a full day VBS and last year we walked to some of the near by parks in the afternoon. My problem is that alot of the games this year are outdoor, and we can not be taking large props to the parks. Does any one else have this problem? Any ideas on how to adapt them for either indoor or small outdoor spaces?

We have 3/4 acre of GRAVEL, so I understand completely. Our church is in a building that is being "repurposed" and was not originally a church, so we do have an indoor area, which helps. Do an internet search for "indoor games" or create some new ones.
Use empty soft drink bottles and a ball and knock down the "giants" on Friday
Make an agent "obstacle course"
Do the game with the "robot arms"
Go on an "I spy'" scavenger hunt
Find "secret messages" in scrolls and perform the stunt

You get the idea. Use your imagination. Lots of games can be given a special agent, space, or Biblical theme.

One thing we have found is that games that require the putting on of the large clothes for a race DO NOT WORK.

wondering what you mean by the game with robot arms? Are you talking about doing the obstical course with robot arms?
