Starter or Super Starter?

Hello,

This will be my first year using Gospel Light's VBS. I just love the theme and think the kids will, too. I am trying to decide whether I need the super starter kit? Any recommendations or reasons why to order one versus the other (other than cost)?

I always order the super starter kit. I couldn't do without the music and skit production pack--all your opening and closing ideas are in there. They have some really neat stunts that I am going to use, this is the first year for those, at least since I have been directing. That book also contains bible story skits that you might use instead of the skit DVd, or I think some churches even use it during the Bible story time. I could go on and on about the advantages of the super starter pack, I really think it is the best buy and makes the planning so much easier and complete.

Here's what I sugguest:
If your a small church or have a small budget I would go with the Starter Pack and buy anything extra that you would need.
If you are a big church or want all of the resources at the best price you can get them, I would go with the Super Starter Pack. With the Super Starter Pack you get all the extras that Gospel Light has to offer for that year.

Last year was my first year directing, and I got just the starter pack-- it was good, but I ended up buying the music pack and the promotional pack extra-- this year, I guess I was just so excited to get started, I didn't realize I did the same thing! It's a neat pack, but I do wish I had gone ahead and got the whole thing. I really like being able to preview all the items first without having to order a bunch of any one item.

This will be my 5th year as director--I always get the super starter also--it is nice to see a sample of everything first before deciding what more to order
